The main responsibilities are to ensure that the future innovations of VMware’s HCI align with critical customer needs and translate customer issues into opportunities. Duncan is a recognized leader in the tech community and is considered one of the 50 most influential leaders worldwide in storage and availability, virtualization and cloud. He has issued 6 patents and pending 5 patents in availability, storage and resource management.
Duncan was one of the first VMware Certified Design Experts and the principal author and owner of VMware / Virtualization blog Yellow-Bricks.com, one of the leading virtualization / hyper-converged / SDDC blogs. Duncan is a regular keynote speaker at industry events such as IP EXPO, Partner Exchange and VMUG User Conferences worldwide. Duncan has been presenting at every VMworld in the US and Europe since 2009.
